Kinda witchy vibe for October BuJo
I've wanted October theme to have a witchy vibe with all the spells, symbols, moons, crystals etc. But then when I checked the pages of my journal, I only have a few pages left to use for the year. There are still 3 months left of the year and it wouldn't make sense using a new thick journal notebook only for 3 months. This was a thing I didn't really considered when starting my journal haha because I could've just divided the journal into 6 months each notebook and use 2 notebooks for 2024.
This month, I didn't put much into effort with the design and prioritized how I could fit the 3 months left into maybe 15 papers on the journal which is about 30 pages. :D
I fit all the necessary things I wanted to add in one spread while also removing some that I don't use much. The big calendar of the month is important for me so that's non negotiable but the rest like the habits are reduced. The weekly boxes and notes are also fitted into the same spread instead of my usual waterfall spreads.
In my previous months, I put each week in one spread so it would make me understand it better cos of visual cues and stuff lol but now since I'm saving pages, I have to put each week in only one page haha. I don't have anything much to write anyway so it's fine.
On the last week, it wouldn't make sense for me to start November on the other page (right) so I just put the whole page of Brain Dump there. :P
This whole system is still quite familiar despite being new but I guess it would also make sense to do for the whole year haha. The boxes are still good enough to fit what I needed to write but also kinda makes me realize how much pages I was wasting with the other months but that is also because I needed to fit the designs.
But on a second thought, I might not enjoy it as much just because it feels overwhelming, too much details fit in one spread. For the next year, I should be better at planning my journal. :D
