Mending and Relaxing
Today I am doing easy things like fixing holes in pillows. This kind of straightforward sewing is just the mindless remedy I needed after a month of nervous sewing on expensive bridal and formal dresses.
I have finished taking a mother's dress in a complete size, doing a monstrously full hem, and assembling a bustle for a bridal gown. At least the bustle was easy-- just sewing some buttons and making some loops.
Now for a nap. Then I will spend the evening knitting and watching Purdue basketball
