Back to Basics: Surfing for Traffic
As the year winds down and I have a few weeks without classes to teach, I returned to the traffic exchanges as well as keeping up with mailers. I hadn't surfed in weeks, so I needed to get my sites in front of eyeballs again!
I enjoyed some time at Pistol Packing Mama and Boot Scootin Traffic, as well as Cup of Traffic. I also went to Sea Life Hits as part of the CTP Scavenger Hunt. I don't surf as much as I used to, but I do surf smarter. I use lead capture pages and build my lists. I also take advantage of promotions, banners, and other features at the traffic exchanges.
Sales is a numbers game, so you need lots and lots of hits to make a sale. TEs are one tool among many for getting more hits.
