Hola a todos. El trabajo de esta semana tiene mucho de planificación y de hacer de tripas corazón. Estuve ideando esta fotografía durante poco más de un par de días, jugando con la idea del perfil del rostro humano. Fue un proceso de ensayo y error con los tipos de luz que tengo a disposición. Las luces LED no funcionan muy bien, ya que al estar compuestas en su mayoría por varios focos, la sombra no queda nítida. La luz natural, por otro lado, es imposible de controlar. Así que trabajé con luz de vela, eficaz por tener un solo foco, y que arroja sobre la superficie blanca un tono amarillento debido a la combustión. Funcionó bastante bien. Espero que les guste.

Hello everyone. This week's work involves a lot of planning and putting my best foot forward. I spent a little over two days creating this photograph, playing with the idea of ​​a human facial profile. It was a process of trial and error with the types of light available to me. LED lights don't work very well, since they're mostly composed of multiple bulbs, and the shadows aren't sharp. Natural light, on the other hand, is impossible to control. So I worked with candlelight, which is effective because it has only one bulb, and which casts a yellowish hue on the white surface due to combustion. It worked quite well. I hope you like it.
