Una tarde de juegos, sudor y memorias que se quedarán en su corazón 🎡❤️ /// An afternoon of games, sweat, and memories that will remain in your heart 🎡❤️
Hello friends, I hope you are all doing great!
There are places that become mandatory stops when my nieces and nephews come to visit, and for me, Flowpark in La Cascada is one of them. My little niece loves it, and it's no wonder—between the ball pit, the slides, and that universe of fun that seems tailor-made for her, it's impossible not to get caught up in her excitement. So when she and my mom came to visit me, there was no question about it—we had to go.
Because of her age, she needs to be accompanied by an adult to enjoy all the attractions, and this time it was my turn to be her adventure buddy. From the very first moment, I became her shadow, following behind her, helping her with what she couldn't do on her own, making sure she didn't trip, bump into anything, or have anything interrupt her joy. And although it seemed like I was only there to watch over her, the truth is that I ended up completely immersed in her world. I was surprised by the inexhaustible energy that a three-year-old girl can have. I sweated inside that park! Literally. She ran, climbed, threw herself down the slides with a laugh that seemed to have no end, and I followed behind, trying to keep up with her.
In the midst of that whirlwind of games, we discovered an educational activity room, which was like finding an oasis. She sat down, focused on the games, and I was able to catch my breath, sit next to her, and simply watch her. Seeing her so focused, so happy, filled my heart. There is something magical about those moments when children immerse themselves in their own world and you, as an adult, have the privilege of watching from the outside, of witnessing their growth, their curiosity, their unique way of discovering their surroundings.
Creating memories with my nieces and nephews is something that fills me with joy. Whenever I have the opportunity, I try to give them moments that will stay with them, that will make them smile when they remember them. They don't have to be big things, long trips, or elaborate plans. Sometimes, an afternoon in the park is enough, with shared laughter and the certainty that we are together. Because in the end, what remains are those little memories that are built with love, with presence, with intention.
That day at FlowPark was just that, an afternoon of connection, of play, of family. And although I ended up exhausted, with my hair a mess and my feet begging for rest, I left with my soul full. Because seeing her happy, seeing her enjoy herself, and knowing that I was part of that memory is what really matters.
