There are days that are just really tough. Days when your spirits are low, your smiles feel forced, and your heart seems to beat slower. Today was one of those days for me, but as I looked in the mirror, wearing this shirt that I chose without thinking too much about it, something in its message made me pause: "Seek the positive." Seek the positive... Not as an obligation, but as an act of kindness towards myself.

Because even in the midst of exhaustion, there are little glimmers that remind us that all is not lost. Sometimes it's an unexpected laugh, a knowing glance, a hug from someone who loves us unconditionally, or simply the sun printed on a piece of fabric, reminding us that it always comes back out.

It's not about denying what hurts or disguising sadness. It's about learning to live with it, to listen to it, and then gently choosing to look at what is right, what sustains us, what gives us strength.

Today was not a good day, but it was a day lived, and that is something. I repeat it to myself like a mantra: "Looking for the positive is not ignoring reality, it is deciding where I want to put my energy." And today, although it was difficult, I chose to put it in hope, in the possibility that tomorrow will be different, in the love that surrounds me, in the smile that I can still give.

Hay días que simplemente pesan. Días en los que el ánimo se esconde, las sonrisas se sienten prestadas y el corazón parece caminar más lento. Hoy fue uno de esos días para mí, pero mientras me miraba al espejo, con esta camisa que elegí sin pensar demasiado, algo en su mensaje me hizo detenerme: “Seek the positive”. Buscar lo positivo... No como una obligación, sino como un acto de ternura hacia mí misma.

Porque incluso en medio del cansancio, hay pequeños destellos que nos recuerdan que no todo está perdido. A veces es una risa inesperada, una mirada cómplice, el abrazo de alguien que nos quiere sin condiciones o simplemente el sol dibujado en una tela, recordándonos que siempre vuelve a salir.

No se trata de negar lo que duele, ni de disfrazar la tristeza. Se trata de aprender a convivir con ella, a escucharla, y luego elegir con suavidad, mirar hacia lo que sí está bien, lo que sí nos sostiene, lo que sí nos da fuerza.

Hoy no fue un buen día, pero fue un día vivido y eso ya es algo. Me lo repito como un mantra: "buscar lo positivo no es ignorar la realidad, es decidir dónde quiero poner mi energía". Y hoy, aunque me costó, elegí ponerla en la esperanza, en la posibilidad de que mañana sea distinto, en el amor que me rodea, en la sonrisa que aún puedo regalar.
