CHOOSING THE PATH I WANTED FOR MY FUTURE
We choose our own future. We are the drivers of our own vehicles towards our destinations and the ones who turn our dreams into reality.
While others say a lot of things, I became deaf and mute as if nothing was uttered. I will make my own path to walk comfortably towards my goal. I want to be happy even if it costs me a lot of effort and hard work.
Doing the things that other people want for me was exhausting and draining. It was as if I was living a borrowed life. I want to live my life to the fullest.
I heard a lot: 'You need to find a job to help your parents and your siblings'.
I saw a lot: My parents hard work and my siblings struggles.
I felt a lot. The pressure and anxiety are slowly eating my whole system. It's a lot to bear everyday. I do nothing but it feels like I struggled so much.
I see others with jobs, and I wonder why am I don't have one?
What's wrong with me?
I'm scared to try. I don't have the confidence to apply for jobs that fit my degree. I don't feel happy at all.
I'm afraid of failures. I'm not brave enough to leave my comfort zone and chase something new, something great.
Or maybe, my motivation hasn't been strong enough to fight my negativity. But this time, I choose myself. I'll make myself the reason I succeed in life. I think late is better than never, right?
Negative thoughts don't create better outcomes; they create unsolved issues.
