Pink Cake

Ingredients

Instructions
1- Prepare the Cake Batter:
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the yellow cake mix, milk, melted butter, and eggs. Mix until the batter is smooth and well integrated.
- Gradually add 6 to 7 drops of red food coloring to the batter until the desired pink hue is achieved.
- Pour the pink batter into a greased sheet pan, spreading it evenly.
2- Bake the Cake:
- Place the sheet pan in the preheated oven and bake for about 20 minutes.
- Check for doneness by inserting a toothpick into the center; it should come out clean.
- Once baked, remove the cake from the oven and let it cool completely on a wire rack.
3- Prepare the Frosting:
- In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Add the vanilla extract and mix well.
- Slowly incorporate the heavy whipping cream, beating continuously until the mixture thickens and peaks form.
- Add 4 drops of red food coloring, adjusting for the preferred shade of pink, and mix until the color is evenly distributed.
4- Frost the Cake:
- Once the cake has cooled, spread the pink frosting generously over the top, making sure it's smooth and even.
- Optional: Add decorations or sprinkles of your choice for an extra touch of fun!
