Chipotle Honey Wings

Ingredients
🐔 3 pounds wings
🌾 1 cup flour
🌽 1/2 cup corn starch
🥄 2 tablespoons baking powder
🧂 1 tablespoon seasoned salt
🌶️ 1 tablespoon paprika
🧅 1 teaspoon onion powder
🧄 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Sauce
🌶️ 1 (7oz) can chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
🥄 1 tablespoon water
🍶 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
🍶 2 tablespoons white vinegar
🍯 1/4 cup honey
🧈 1 stick unsalted butter
Instructions
1- Prepare the Wings:
- Pat the wings dry thoroughly to ensure crispiness.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, corn starch, baking powder, seasoned salt, paprika, onion powder, and garlic powder.
- Add the wings to the bowl and toss them well, ensuring each wing is evenly coated with the flour mixture.
2- Cook the Wings:
- Frying: Heat oil in a deep fryer to 375°F (190°C). Fry the wings for 12 to 15 minutes or until they are crispy and golden brown.
- Air Frying: Preheat your air fryer to 390°F (200°C). Arrange the wings in a single layer and cook for 20 minutes, flipping them halfway through until they are cooked through and crispy.
- Baking: Preheat your oven to 400°F (204°C). Place the wings on a baking sheet and bake for 40 to 50 minutes, turning them halfway through until they are golden and crispy.
3- Prepare the Sauce:
- In a food processor, combine the chipotle peppers, water, Worcestershire sauce, white vinegar, and honey. Blend until the mixture is smooth.
- In a saucepan over medium to low heat, melt the unsalted butter. Add the chipotle mixture and simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4- Coat the Wings:
- Once the wings are cooked, transfer them to a large bowl.
- Pour the prepared chipotle honey sauce over the wings and toss to ensure they are well-coated.
5- Serve and Enjoy:
