Buffalo Wings

Ingredients
🍗 3 to 4 pounds of chicken wings
🌽 1/3 cup corn starch
🧅 1/2 tablespoon onion powder
🧄 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
🌶️ 1/2 tablespoon smoked paprika
🧂 1/2 tablespoon salt
🔥 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
🧈 1 and 1/2 sticks unsalted butter
🌶️ 1 and 1/2 cups Frank’s Hot Sauce (or your favorite hot sauce)
🍋 2 tablespoons white vinegar
🥫 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
🧄 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
🌶️ 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
Instructions
1- Prepare the Wings:
- Begin by patting dry the washed and cleaned chicken wings with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
- In a large bowl, combine corn starch, onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and cayenne pepper. Toss the chicken wings in this spice mixture until evenly coated.
2- Fry the Wings:
- Heat enough oil in a large pot or deep fryer to reach 375°F (190°C).
- Fry the wings in batches to avoid overcrowding. Cook for about 10 to 12 minutes or until the wings are crispy and golden brown.
- Remove the wings from the oil and let them drain on paper towels.
3- Prepare the Buffalo Sauce:
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter.
- Add in Frank’s Hot Sauce, white vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Stir well to combine.
- Bring the mixture to a gentle boil, then remove from heat.
4- Coat the Wings:
- Place the fried wings into a large bowl and pour the prepared Buffalo sauce over them. Toss the wings until they are well-coated with the sauce.
5- Serve:
- Plate the wings and serve immediately. They pair perfectly with celery sticks and a side of ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.
