๐ง A sprinkle of salt
๐ฅ 1 package wonton wraps
๐ฅ 2 eggs mixed with 2 tablespoons water
๐ Seasoned bread crumbs
๐ข๏ธ Oil for frying
Instructions
1- Prepare the Filling:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, Buffalo sauce, garlic powder, black pepper, ranch seasoning, and a sprinkle of salt.
- Mix thoroughly until well combined.
2- Prepare the Egg Wash:
- In a separate small bowl, beat the two eggs with two tablespoons of water until well mixed.
- Set aside.
3- Assemble the Wontons:
- Take one wonton wrap and place it on a clean surface.
- Place about one teaspoon of the chicken filling in the center of the wonton wrap.
- Using your finger or a brush, dab the edges of the wonton wrap with the egg wash to help it seal.
- Fold the wrap over the filling and press the edges together to enclose the filling completely.
- Dip the sealed wonton in the egg wash and then coat it in seasoned bread crumbs. Repeat for remaining wraps and filling.
4- Fry the Wontons:
- Heat a suitable amount of oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
- Once the oil is hot, carefully add the wontons in batches and fry until they are golden brown and crispy.
- Use a slotted spoon to remove the cooked wontons and drain them on a paper towel-lined plate.
5- Serve:
- Enjoy your Buffalo Chicken Blasts with your choice of Buffalo ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.
