Brookie

Ingredients
🥚 2 eggs (for brownie mix)
💧 1/3 cup water
🥄 1/3 cup vegetable oil
📦 1 box brownie mix
🥚 1 egg (for cookie mix)
🧈 1 stick butter (softened for cookie mix)
📦 1 package chocolate chip cookie mix
🍫 Chocolate chips (for topping)
Instructions
1- Preheat the Oven:
- Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) to preheat while you prepare the mix.
2- Prepare the Brownie Mix:
- In a mixing bowl, combine 2 eggs, 1/3 cup of water, and 1/3 cup of vegetable oil.
- Add the brownie mix and stir until the mixture is smooth and fully combined.
3- Prepare the Cookie Dough:
- Soften 1 stick of butter in the microwave for about 10-20 seconds until it is easy to mix, but not melted.
- In another mixing bowl, combine the softened butter with 1 egg and the chocolate chip cookie mix.
- Mix using your hands (or a spatula) until fully combined.
4- Assemble the Brookies:
- Line a brownie pan with parchment paper for easy removal.
- Pour the brownie mixture evenly into the prepared pan.
- Form large balls with the cookie dough and distribute them over the brownie mixture in the pan.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips on top for extra indulgence.
5- Baking:
- Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Check for doneness by inserting a knife in the center; if it comes out clean, your Brookies are ready.
- If additional time is needed, bake for another 5 minutes.
6- Cooling and Serving:
- Once done, let the Brookies cool in the pan for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Slice into squares and enjoy!
