Dried Fish cooked in Tomatoes, or "Sarciadong Tuyo" in our native dialect, is our next dish. Since I was born and reared in a town where dried fish is popular, this is one of my favorite Filipino dishes. Our town is located near the sea and fishing is the primary source of income for our residents.
