The Magic of the Public Bus: Where Nature, People, and Unforgettable Moments Collide

The only mode of transportation I have experience with is land, and among land transport, I mostly use the public bus. So when it comes to selecting a favorite mode of transportation, I'll stick to that which I know—Land transportation in a public bus.

Among the other modes of transportation, land transports are the easiest to access, especially the public bus. Air transport and water transport require meeting a long list of tiring criteria and are costlier than land transport. For this reason, I've always enjoyed traveling by land, and I'll list a few reasons why I still prefer it among the other modes of transportation.

Traveling by land is fun. Among the other modes of transportation, it's one where passengers can have a whole comedy scene. Among the passengers are individuals with different characters—some are funny, some annoying, while some just mind their business. Engaging with these people sometimes makes the journey seem short.

One would be fortunate to have a good listener and communicator sitting next to him. While they journey, they'll be lost in communication, no longer minding how far the journey is, caught up in the moment and enjoying the nature that lies within the pathways and towns traveled through.

Traveling by land, one can make friends, make real connections, and meet life partners faster than in any other mode of transportation. Unlike other modes of transportation where class is a factor, everyone in a public bus assumes the same class with no bias. We talk as friends, laugh, and make real connections. The photo above is a picture of me and my friend who boarded a bus to travel home after our youth service.

On that same journey, I met a female who later became a close friend. We spoke for hours, and I realized she lives in a town not far from mine. For her, the public bus was her first time traveling by land from school back home, and I made a new friend.

Finally, traveling by land helps one catch the beauty of nature as one goes through towns and villages. For lovers of nature, land transportation becomes the best option, catching glimpses of tourist attractions and enjoying the cool of the day (if traveling at night).

For those who prefer calm and quiet travel, air transportation may be their best option. For me, having experienced only land transport, I enjoy it for the reasons listed above.
