WIP Character Design: Pippa

This image came about while I was trying to recreate the original form into something useful well to me it depicts a creature that appears to be a mix of both a cat and a bat.

The head has a shape typical of a cat, with pointed ears and a facial structure that includes large, round eyes and a small, smiling mouth.

The body has large, spread out wings that are characteristic of a bat but at this point I think it is a brown cape for now. The overall body shape, especially the way the wings connect to the legs, resembles a bat's anatomy nevertheless.

Could I make this creature a hybrid between a cat and a bat? perhaps a whimsical or fantasy creature rather than a real animal. Well, my intention really is create a nocturnal creature like a bat. The light purple color I think fits that character

Yesterday it looked like this, in my next edit I hope I can turn it into a female bat character who is into food delivery at night hahaha. I made a quick search about the image of a bat and the one that caught my attention is the Pipistrelle kind very nice as I will now call my WIP bat as Pippa inspired by that bat specie
