Soft Cheeks
Gave myself a little break from my usual world building project and just doodled today, nothing serious, just letting my hand move without thinking too much. somehow I got really into drawing these soft, plump cheeks like I just wanted to see how round and gentle I could make them feel. Plus a nice rounded forehead with a chin to match. Something haunting like those porcelain doll faces. I added a bit of blush, softening the shapes, keeping everything simple. and then somewhere along the way, the character started to feel like something more. like a quiet little prince just standing there, in his own world, not saying much but still holding a whole story in his face. It feels calm, a little dreamy, and kind of personal in a way I didn’t expect. The hair should be reddish and curly but I could not get the right shape and silhouette it either got big or out of control curls. I did not finish the outfit as I was just trying to give him a small cartoonish body. Maybe I can turn this into a cowboy or not.
