Fools Blue XT, Drawing step by step /Rising Star

Blessings, colleagues! Today's drawing is of a guitar. I'm so happy to be painting one; it's been quite a while since I last painted one. For today, I wanted one with a bolder design, something more eye-catching, and I found a perfect one in the game's cards: R647 Fools Blue XT. As you can see, this card features a beautiful guitar. It's very striking because of its pointed corners; you can tell it's rugged and suitable for the hardest rock and metal. I loved being able to paint it.

It looks a lot like the real-life models from the renowned brand Jackson Kelly. You know, they're the ones who make the most daring guitar designs that many metalheads use today. To give you an example of these guitars in action, I'll leave a YouTube video of someone playing one. As you'll see, they look very similar. The Jackson Kelly design has a more pronounced fin, but I think the game's graphic artists were inspired by it when creating the card design.

Okay, so let's move on to the drawing. You've already seen a bit of the guitar, and with more context, I can show you how I made this drawing. First, as step number one, I made the classic frame that I always use in all my drawings. I made this frame in Adobe Illustrator.

After finishing the frame, I drew the guitar's neck. It's rectangular and elongated; it's one of the longest parts of the guitar. Following that, I used some advanced functions of the same program to create the guitar's outline, that is, the part that connects to the neck. What I like most about it are the pointed fins. I drew them closely following the original card model so that it would be as similar as possible.

In the next step, I drew the tuning peg area. There are six in total, corresponding to six strings. This entire area is called the headstock, as I've mentioned before.

The painting process followed. As you can see, I used the same color palette found on the chart. To get it, I used the classic eyedropper tool. Then I used the exact numbers of the colors to paint in IbisPaint. The guitar is painted with 5 different colors. But it's better if you see for yourselves how I did it, so I don't bore you with the explanation. The interesting thing is to see it.
