Aqua Marine Cello, Drawing step by step /Rising Star
Blessings, ladies and gentlemen, or simply fellow players of this wonderful game. In today's post, I'm going to show you my drawing for today. Yesterday we saw a very special guitar, and today I bring you another stringed instrument: a beautiful violin. It's the E52 Aqua Marine Cello. As you can see, it's a blue violin inspired by the sea. It looks fantastic; it's a great work of art by the game's designers. I really like that sea-blue color. And the trails in the background remind me of ocean shadows; the card's background is very well designed.
It reminds me of the seaweed from SpongeBob SquarePants. Haha, I'm referring to the trails on the water in the card's background. The violin is a classic model with the unique feature of being blue, just like the background. Everything goes together perfectly; it looks great. In my drawing, I also used this blue color to paint the background and the violin, just like it is on the card. Before showing you the drawing, I've included a YouTube music video as a bonus. It's a song played with this type of violin—an acoustic one. Then we'll look at the drawing.
Let's get to the drawing. I started by drawing the frame of the card. See how it turned out.
After drawing the frame, I drew the violin's neck and then its characteristic body shape. I also drew part of the legs of the stand that holds it upright. Obviously, I'm referring to real life, where those legs would keep it in that forward-facing position.
In the details, I drew the rest of the legs of the stand that were missing, the embellishments, the frets, and several other parts that serve different functions on the instrument. Also, on the upper part of the neck, I drew the pegbox that I was still missing.
Now for the painting, everyone. In the following photos, you can see the whole process and how I painted it step by step. It will be more fun for you to see it than for me to tell you how I did it.
In the next step, I added the final aesthetic details, such as the strings and the missing frets. With that, it's almost finished.
And finally, I've added the stamp with the game's name, which means the drawing is complete, and I've also added the instrument's name, as always. See you in the next one.
