Chasing Sunshine at Hadsan Beach Resort, Mactan

Hi everyone, hello madlang ka-hives! It's me again, your Angel . For today’s blog, I want to share with you my experience in Punta Engaño Hadsan Beach Resort in Mactan, Cebu. Are you ready ? Tara na !

It all started on May 10, 2025 . The heat that day was super intense, like the sun was right above our heads . My uncle suddenly said, “Let’s go to the beach!” At first, I thought he was joking, but he was actually serious—and I couldn’t say no .

So we packed our things, prepared snacks, and got ready for a sunny adventure . We left the house around 8 AM in the morning . Since we had a car, the travel was easy and comfortable . Everyone was excited, and we were all singing along to summer music during the ride .

We arrived at Hadsan Beach Resort at exactly 10 AM . The moment we got there, our eyes widened . The place was so beautiful . The blue sky met the clear sea water, and the whole area was full of happy people enjoying the day . The beach was clean, the trees gave us nice shade, and the water was just calling us to jump in . It felt like a little piece of paradise in Mactan .

The entrance fee for locals was very affordable—just ₱185 per head . That’s already good considering the facilities and the nice beach .

After we paid, we looked for a nice spot under a big tree where we could set up our things . Luckily, we found a perfect area near the water . We laid down our mats, opened our snacks, and started taking photos right away !

One of my favorite parts was when we visited a small boutique near the beach area . They were selling all kinds of beachwear, from cute tops to floral dresses . Of course, I couldn’t resist ! I bought a beautiful white dress with pink and red flowers .

I went back to our spot, changed into it, and had a mini photoshoot under the trees and by the rocks . The dress really matched the beach vibe, and I felt so pretty and fresh !

After a while, we noticed people lining up for different water rides . They had a lot of choices like banana boat, jet ski, and others . We decided to try the bandwagon ride . It was ₱2000 for four people—medyo pricey, but we all agreed it was worth the experience .

It was my first time riding it, so I was a bit nervous . But when the ride started, I couldn’t stop laughing ! It was a mix of fear, excitement, and pure joy . The waves splashed, the bandwagon bounced, and I held on tight the whole time . I felt alive and free—truly a one-of-a-kind experience .

After the ride, we were all wet but super happy . We took more photos and enjoyed the rest of the afternoon swimming . The water was clean and not too deep, so even the younger ones in our group enjoyed safely . There were also lifeguards around, which made us feel more secure .

We also walked around the beach and saw some locals selling snacks like ice cream, tempura, and fresh buko juice . I bought a cold buko juice and it was perfect to cool down after swimming . The vendors were friendly and polite, and it felt nice supporting them too .

As the sun started to go down, the sky turned orange and pink . The view was amazing, like a painting . We sat together, ate snacks, shared stories, and just enjoyed the moment . Sometimes, the best part of a trip is not just the place, but the people you're with—and I felt really thankful to spend that day with my family .

Before we left, I looked around one last time and took a deep breath . The beach, the wind, the laughter—it all felt so peaceful . I realized that sometimes, a simple trip like this can refresh your mind and heart . It reminded me to slow down, appreciate nature, and enjoy little adventures in life .

All in all, our day at Punta Engaño Hadsan Beach Resort was truly unforgettable . From the beautiful views, the fun water rides, the mini shopping moment, and the bonding with family, everything was worth it . If you’re looking for a nice beach in Cebu that’s affordable, clean, and full of fun things to do, I really recommend this place . Whether you’re with friends, family, or even just by yourself, you’ll surely have a great time .
