A Walk in Tilgate Park: January 30 2023

A lovely sunny day 🌞, and even temperatures were up a little so where else to go for a walk? Tilgate Park of course! Being Monday it was much quieter than it would be at the weekend.

Wild fowl was out in force today. With many pairs of swans as well as some of their offspring from last year.

Swans are protected by law and each one has its own identity ring. They are magnificent creatures especially up close like today on the bankside and grassed areas. I could easily touch them if I wanted but of course did not dare to! 😄

We love this park . It is quite large with three lakes, a large forest and a full size golf course as well. A great place for the whole family too with a restaurant with bar, many attractions including a nature center, walled gardens, children's play areas.

A nice walk today, taking pictures as we walked. There is a real sense of spring approaching now. Bring it on!
