Luego de varios días de haber firmado su ingreso a RisingStar, Charlie y Lucas regresaron nuevamente al enorme edificio, donde ya no eran simples visitantes, ahora eran parte de la familia de RisingStar y su nuevo desafío era crear y lanzar su primera canción bajo el nombre del estudio. Richard Evans los estaba esperando en la entrada y los recibió con una gran sonrisa —¡Me alegra volver a verlos! Hoy comienza una nueva etapa para ustedes— Charlie y Lucas estaban un poco nerviosos, pero a la vez feliz por tener esa gran oportunidad.

Volvieron a caminar por esos enormes pasillos y llegaron al estudio principal, donde los esperaban varios productores, compositores y dos banjos totalmente nuevos, sin embargo, Richard tomó la palabra y comentó —Ustedes son excelentes tocando el banjo, pero para esta primera canción falta una voz capaz— ambos niños se quedaron sorprendidos y segundos después entró una niña de su misma edad, llevaba unos audífonos y una libreta. Richard siguió hablando y dijo —Ella se llama Sofía, tiene una voz extraordinaria y creemos que juntos pueden crear algo realmente especial—

A few days after signing with RisingStar, Charlie and Lucas returned to the huge building, where they were no longer just visitors—they were now part of the RisingStar family, and their new challenge was to create and release their first song under the studio’s name. Richard Evans was waiting for them at the entrance and greeted them with a big smile—“It’s great to see you again!” “Today marks the start of a new chapter for you.” Charlie and Lucas were a little nervous, but at the same time happy to have this great opportunity.

They walked through those huge hallways again and arrived at the main studio, where several producers, songwriters, and two brand-new banjos were waiting for them. However, Richard spoke up and said, “You’re excellent at playing the banjo, but for this first song, we need a capable vocalist.” Both boys were surprised, and seconds later, a girl their age walked in, wearing headphones and carrying a notebook. Richard continued speaking and said, “Her name is Sofía. She has an extraordinary voice, and we believe that together you can create something truly special.”

Charlie y Lucas todavía seguían sorprendidos, aun así le dieron la mano y se presentaron. Los dos niños salieron del edificio y mientras regresaban a casa permanecieron casi todo el camino en silencio. Al llegar a casa volvieron a encontrarse al abuelo de Charlie afinando su viejo banjo y al darse cuenta de la cara de ambos le pregunto —¿Qué ocurrió?— Charlie y Lucas se sentaron a su lado y comenzaron a hablar —Hoy conocimos a Sofía, una niña con una voz increíble y quieren que hagamos nuestra primera canción junto a ella, pero el problema es que siempre hemos tocado solo con nuestros banjos—

Charlie and Lucas were still surprised, but they shook her hand and introduced themselves anyway. They spent the whole morning talking and exchanging ideas; Lucas suggested different rhythms, and Sofía began singing a few lines she had written in her notebook. Little by little, the song the three of them were going to create was taking shape; however, Charlie and Lucas still weren’t entirely convinced. Hours later, they wrapped up their first session, and Richard said goodbye to them: “Don’t be afraid to try new things—the best songs are born when different talents come together.”

The two boys left the building, and as they walked home, they remained silent almost the entire way. When they got home, they found Charlie’s grandfather tuning his old banjo again. Noticing the look on their faces, he asked, “What happened?” Charlie and Lucas sat down next to him and began to talk. “Today we met Sofía, a girl with an incredible voice, and they want us to write our first song with her, but the problem is that we’ve always played just with our banjos—”

Grandpa smiled and said aloud, “Do you remember when you learned your first notes?” “The two looked at each other and nodded, and Grandpa said, ‘At first, you weren't sure either, and the beauty of music is that it always presents new challenges—and those are what help true artists grow.’ Charlie and Lucas fell silent, and those words gave them a little more confidence. Besides, this could be a great opportunity to discover a completely new sound and prove that they really want to be part of RisingStar.”
