My Strategy for the Reverse Speed Rule in Splinterlands

My main strategy for battles in Splinterlands is to use cards with high speed, which is why I hate the Reverse Speed ​​rule.

In this post, I'll show the strategy I use when the Reverse Speed ​​rule is in effect during battle.

In my posts, I like to talk about Arcade Colony, so before continuing to talk about Splinterlands, let's learn a little about this game platform.

Let's continue talking about the Reverse Speed ​​rule in Splinterlands.

In the Reverse Speed ​​rule, my main strategy is to use cards that have low speed, preferably cards that have 1 speed.

I'll use the Shadowcomb Duskrose card as an example; it belongs to the new Reward Set and is perfect for the Reverse Speed ​​rule because it only has 1 speed. It's the type of card you'll want in your battle under this rule because it deals a lot of damage and has great abilities; let's learn about these abilities.

Charge

Can use melee attacks from any position.

Rust

-2 armor to all enemy units.

Fury

Deals double damage if the target has Taunt.

Ambush

Takes an extra turn prior to the first round of battle.

These abilities make Shadowcomb Duskrose a great choice for dealing damage in battles and also making the opponent's cards more vulnerable because of the Rust ability.

You can get Shadowcomb Duskrose by opening Loot Chests or buying it on the market; it's an extra card from the Arcane Conclave edition.

When you receive Shadowcomb Duskrose in a Loot Chest, it's already a tradable card, and this is a great incentive to open Loot Chests in Splinterlands.

Although Shadowcomb Duskrose is a great card, I recommend using it only in the Reverse Speed ​​rule because in other battles speed is very important, and for that reason I don't think Shadowcomb Duskrose is very useful in other battles.
