How to Get Great Grill Marks
This will work on any grill pan or outdoor grill.
Step1
With 12 o'clock being at left-center, place the top of your meat at 10 o'clock and the bottom at 4 o'clock.
Step 2
Once the meat has been seared in the first position, position the top of the meat at 2 o'clock and the bottom at 8 o'clock.
Step 3
Once the meat has been seared in the second position, turn it on the opposite side, placing the top of your meat at 2 o'clock and the bottom at 8 o'clock.
Step 4
Once the meat is seared in position 3, position the top of the meat at 10 o'clock and the bottom at 4 o'clock.
