Raid on Medeshamstede Abbey.

Riding my legendary wolf, I crossed a river directly onto its back to launch a raid on Medeshamstede Abbey. After sounding the raid horn, I was knocked off my mount by an arrow, prompting a brutal spree where I dismembered archers, blinded a heavy foe, and stomped an elite shield warrior.

I decided to go for another raid right away, riding my legendary wolf toward Medeshamstede Abbey. Upon approaching the area, I realized I was stranded on the opposite side of the river from the main objective.

Unsure if my mount could cross deep waters, I pushed the beast into the river to test its ability. To my surprise, the wild wolf began swimming smoothly across the current while keeping me fully mounted.

I was thrilled to take advantage of this feature, as the wolf carried me safely to the opposite bank without forcing me to dismount or swim through the water myself.

Once ashore, I rode along the riverbank toward the heart of the settlement, finally stopping just outside the main gateway to prepare for the upcoming assault.

Standing tall on the back of my wolf, I sounded my raid horn to call my crew's longship warriors into the fray and initiate the siege.

Just as I finished blowing the horn, an enemy archer landed a direct shot, knocking me off my mount and onto the ground.

Knowing the wolf acts strictly as a mount and would not assist in combat, I engaged the archer myself, firing an arrow before finishing him off by severing one of his arms.

More guards rushed my position, led by a massive brute wielder. I kept my distance and peppered him with continuous arrow shots to slow his charge.

I brought the brute down with a final, precise arrow shot that pierced straight through his left eye socket.

An elite soldier carrying a heavy tower shield stepped up next, but he was quickly overwhelmed. Once I knocked him down, I stomped his head to execute him on the spot.

With the perimeter clear, my raiding party finally caught up to my position, prompting me to mockingly welcome them for showing up after the hard work was already done.
