Friday Reflections

Is it just me or did this week seem to take twice as long to pass? Pretty sure the cats are messing with the spacetime continuum again. The furry shit machines think it's funny, get the hoomans all discombobulated and then trick them into more wet food.

Speaking of discombobulated, is anyone else's weather acting all out of sorts? I'm not one to complain of 70 degree weather in December but I don't think it bodes well for a white Christmas. Sorry kids, the reindeer got heatstroke and Santa had to cancel Christmas this year.

Photos are all from a couple of my visits to Jefferson Memorial Forest here in Louisville. I should probably pay it another visit soon, this may not be good Xmas weather but it sure is good fishing weather.

Who else here on hive likes to fish? Bluegill, bass, and catfish are just about all I ever fish for.

Ever catch one of these S.O.B.s? We were raiding jug lines one time and thought we'd hit the jackpot. Instead of pulling out a tasty catfish we found ourselves confronted by a pissed of snapping turtle. That'll make you forget all about supper...

Gonna get out and do some hiking this weekend, take advantage of second fall and get some photos. Haven't been getting out as much as I'd like and I don't even have the weather to blame. What do you do to keep yourself shooting when it's winter and you'd rather hibernate somewhere warm?
