Shooting Up The Weekend
With the weather warming up and the Derby hangovers finally starting to wear off, things are starting to get busy around these parts. Had our first community market of the season, a Nakba Day event, and a 'Democracy Festival,' along with a bunch of other stuff there wasn't time for this past weekend.
My frame count has been drinking, not me! Barely managed to look through all the shots from this weekend, had to edit at least a few monochrome shots before taking any more.
May have gotten carried away at the Democracy Festival, but then again that's just what happens when there's live music and free space on the SD cards.
All the musical performances were great but it was the last one that really caught my attention. Recognized the lead vocalist/guitarist from a show they'd played in Injustice Square Park during the Breonna Taylor protests in 2020. Their set got cut short by severe weather that day, was nice to finally get to hear them run through a full set.
Speaking of full sets, will have some full sets of photos soon, but for now they're playing the 'My Bed Is Calling Me & I Must Go' song.
