Juan Valdez Instant Coffee
Jerry Fort, the Beer Review Guy from his channel on YouTube, had the opportunity to try out Juan Valdez's freeze-dried premium Colombian coffee. In this review, he evaluates the aroma, flavor, and consistency of the coffee, and even experiments with adding caramel macchiato to the mix.
Opening the can, Fort takes note of the pleasing aroma emanating from the coffee. He admires the look of the large coffee pieces before dissolving them in hot water. The resulting coffee is rich and strong, though a bit bitter, with an aftertaste of coffee acidity. Fort tries to mellow out the bitterness with regular cream but ends up adding some caramel macchiato to achieve the desired sweetness.
Fort's final verdict? Juan Valdez Instant Coffee isn't for everyone, but if you enjoy a strong cup of coffee, it's worth a try. He cannot vouch for its authenticity as he did not try it black but admits that the instant coffee is an excellent alternative to freshly roasted and ground coffee.
