Chocolatey Ice Mocha
Indulge in the ultimate café-style experience with this Iced Mocha enriched by a decadent chocolate cold foam. Perfect as a dessert or refreshing treat, this beverage combines layers of rich chocolate, robust espresso, and silky foam for a deliciously indulgent drink.
Ingredients
🍫 1 oz Walden Farms Chocolate Sauce for the base
🧊 Enough ice to fill a glass
🥛 3 oz Generic Canadian Milk for the base
🍫 0.5 oz Walden Farms Chocolate Sauce for the espresso
☕ Double shot of espresso
🥛 1.5 oz Generic Canadian Whipping Cream for cold foam
🥄 1 tbsp Generic Canadian Milk for cold foam
🍫 1 oz Walden Farms Chocolate Sauce for cold foam
🍫 Cacao Powder optional topping to taste
Instructions
1- Prepare the Base:
- Fill a clear serving glass with ice.
- Pour 1 oz of Walden Farms chocolate sauce into the glass over the ice.
- Add 3 oz of Generic Canadian milk to the glass for a layered effect.
2- Prepare the Espresso:
- In a Sucafina espresso measuring cup, add 0.5 oz of Walden Farms chocolate sauce.
- Pull a double shot of espresso from the Profitec espresso machine directly into the cup with the chocolate sauce.
- Use a small metal spoon to stir the espresso and chocolate sauce until well combined.
3- Assemble the Drink:
- Slowly pour the espresso mixture over the milk and ice in the serving glass to create distinct layers.
4- Make the Chocolate Cold Foam:
- In a small glass, combine 1.5 oz of Generic Canadian whipping cream, 1 tablespoon of milk, and 1 oz of Walden Farms chocolate sauce.
- Use an Aerolatte milk frother to whisk the mixture until it becomes light and fluffy.
5- Top the Drink:
- Gently pour the chocolate cold foam over the layered drink in the serving glass.
- Optionally, sprinkle cacao powder over the top using a small metal mesh sieve for an elegant finish.
