Weekend Escape: An Overnight Stay at Pundakit Beach with My Partner’s Family
My partner’s family had planned an overnight at the beach as a celebration for his older brother’s birthday. It will be celebrated at Pundakit Beach, just a few minutes away from our house. We rode our motorbike for about 20 minutes, and when we got there, we noticed a welcoming vibe in the area where we would be staying.
The blue ocean waved hello to us as we got there, and I am always mesmerized by the beautiful sky and clouds.
They had prepared some food and brought some tents and camping chairs, though there are a few benches and cottages available for use. There are a lot of foods on the table, from viand, rice, snacks, and more. We just ate our dinner quickly, as we wanted to start drinking already.
After eating together, my partner and I sat down with everyone at the table and started our drinking session. We were having some CLVB liquor with Coke and enjoyed the night as we embraced the cold breeze, too. We didn’t realize it was already late at night until the kids started sleeping in their tents. But the adults continued drinking until the morning.
It’s funny because we finished drinking around 6:00 in the morning. The sun was almost up, and I went inside our tent to sleep for a bit. I think it was already 10:00 by the time I got up and had my coffee and breakfast. It was a great experience, and we truly enjoyed the weekend escape at the beach.
