Nothing Scares Me More Than Time
Look around you and see that everything is changing, and that it’s constant.
Every day, we experience unexpected changes that shift our perspective on life. Every day, we see posts on social media about sorrow, loss, regret, and frustration. From time to time, we can scroll through some posts of condolences, and it sucks.
You can feel the sadness and the deepest pain of all the family and loved ones who have left. Though we never know when death is coming, or whether you’re ready or not, you will stop thinking about your family and their life when you’re gone, especially when you are the breadwinner of the family.
Time is precious; it plays a significant role in our lives and is the most valuable resource because it cannot be taken back. I am not scared of time itself, but the idea of things I cannot take back or do because of time scares me. Many “what ifs” are ruining my veins for the things that I will never be able to do when my time stops here on earth.
I am worried about my family, especially my parents. They are all the reasons for my struggle and my inspirations for my success. And I am willing to sacrifice my all for them to make them stable and comfortable in life. I am afraid that when the time comes, I will not be able to help or take good care of them.
I am not writing this article to make us afraid of time, but rather to inspire us to value the time God has given us and to be appreciative of the days God has added to our lives. Not everyone can wake up the following day or do things they want from time to time. So I’m encouraging everyone to live life to the fullest and do something that makes them happy.
It is better to give it all rather than regret something you cannot do when you do not have the time. Give love to all who want to be loved, take care of those who need care, and help those in need. Especially, forgive those people and things that hurt you, and apologize for all that you’ve damaged.
We will never know what every time will bring. Every second that counts, a sudden change may happen. We can never tell what time could get. Either good or bad things could occur; we will never know. Do something that you need to do, make things that God wants us to do, and achieve all the things you need to complete.
Let ourselves go without regrets and blame everything on what we can no longer do. Take the risk or lose the chance. Do all things in time, live with it, and do not waste it!
