Meal Prep Sunday!

Happy Sunday folks!

I'm going to share more of these later but I wanted to share what I used to be "locally famous" for :)

Making healthy food, fast and cheap!

This week, Brittany and I are prepping some meals and the one I'm highlighting today is Ground Turkey, Brussel Sprouts and Sweet Potato!

Here's me in the kitchen... being a goober for the photo! I grabbed a ladle for no real reason... just wanted a prop lol

One of the main issues facing America is we eat terribly unhealthy food... a LOT!

This leads to health issues and my passion is to solve this problem.

Here are the ingredients for todays meals!!

Ground Turkey:

Brussel Sprouts:

Sweet Potatoes:

Now that we have the ingredients ready, another major problem is most people don't know how much food they should be eating... and worse... they don't know how much they are eating...

Weighing your food is very important! I use a high quality food scale from Edlund, the Bravo BRV-160W 😊

In this case, we have 4oz Cooked Ground Turkey, 1 Cup (3.55oz) Brussel Sprouts and 5oz Sweet Potatoes!

The macro nutrition facts for this meal are:

Turkey: 230 Calories, 19g Protein, - Carbs, 16g Fat
Brussel Sprouts: 56 Calories, 4g Protein, 11g Carbs, - Fat
Sweet Potato: 100 Calories, 4g Protein, 20g Carbs, .5g Fat

Total: 386 Calories, 26g Protein, 31g Carb and 16.5g Fat

All in all a delicious and super healthy meal!!

Here's a bunch getting ready, but now I gotta get back to work!!!

Here's to being Healthy Hivers in 2025 and beyond!!
