Notably, Angela Basset is a diverse actor with hidden talents. She was born in the year of 1958 on August 16th. She is from the neighborhood of Harlem, but she was raised in St. Petersburg Florida.

Nevertheless, Angela Basset was inspired to act in highschool during a field trip. As a matter of fact, she was inspired to act after she went to see a live show, which was a classic production called Mice of Men by James Earl Jones.

In addition, Angela Basset graduated from Yale with a Bachelor's degree in Afro-American studies. Not to mention, in 1991 she landed a role in the movie Boyz 'N the Hood. With this in mind, she earned a role in another hit movie called The Jacksons: An American Dream.

Specifically, my favorite movies by Angela Basset include Akeela and the Bee, Notorious, Jump the Broom, Green Lantern, and Betty & Coretta. Furthermore, she was nominated for several awards, but there's no doubt that she won the Golden Globe Award the year of 1994. By the same token, she won the Saturn award in 1996 for best actress.

Given these points, Angela Basset is an inspiration to many entertainers. She inspires me with her many achievements, because it shows me that the sky is the limit. On the other hand, it shows me that life brings many challenges. For this reason, we should stay motivated on this journey we call life.
