Moreover, she received a role in the show A Different World, which was around the year of 1991. Her role on A Different World helped to boost her career. Correspondingly, in 1993 she landed a role in the movie called Menace II Society.

Furthermore, in 1996 she earned a role in the movie Nutty Professor. She starred in the movie alongside
Eddie Murphy. Nevertheless, in 2003 she starred in the two hit movies The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions.
