Even In The Toughest Time, Keep Going (SMASh Contest- Round 435)
Hello #shadowhunters friends, there is a saying that when the going gets tough, the tough gets going. Recently, in my country of origin, the rain seems to affect sales and almost everything else. In this month of July, it became intense,
On the other hand, I was supposed to carry out a half year performance evaluation in my workplace. Some employees where of the opinion that we shift the evaluation to allow time for employees that are doing badly a chance to improve.
When I mean badly, the sales department are affected, also there is an increase in lateness caused by early morning rainfall, traffic and the flooding situation in some parts of my state of residence. There are other factors such as ill health due to the heavy downfall and excessive cold as laid by these employees during the employee engagement.
However, When I went for the meeting with the management board, and it was time to present my report, I tabled the requests from the employees and pleaded for a shift of date. It was thoroughly discussed and I was asked to go back and encourage the employees to keep going, pushing and working smart for tomorrow does not belong to quitters but to those who refuse to quit even when the going gets tough.
I took up that advice and buckled up in my shadow hunting activity for this week. The sun refused to shine because of the heavy downpours, but immediately it shined forth today, I jumped up with my phone and captured some shots during our visitation to the factories with my team. Look at what I got here.
