The sewing process is quite simple and children can participate under adult supervision. It can be done by hand or machine; I used a machine this time, but if you don't have one, you can sew by hand using a small or hidden stitch. The project is easy to make and requires few steps, but it's very useful for everyday use. This activity offers great benefits to children, including:
*It allows them to identify textures and colors, as the fabric stands out for its colorful stripes.
*They can also identify geometric shapes, such as triangles, broken lines, and thin and thick lines.
*It's an excellent activity for developing concentration and fine motor skills. When using needles, it's important that adults guide the child on how to sew carefully. There are plastic needles or blunt-tipped needles, which are suitable for working with children, always maintaining constant supervision to avoid needle sticks.
*It also helps them practice fine motor skills during the cutting process. In addition to basic math operations like addition, division, and multiplication, when cutting the fabric, which is 30 cm wide by 150 cm long, we divide it into five parts and obtain five 30 x 30 cm pieces.
*In short, it's a simple project where the child can do different activities that help them concentrate, stimulate creativity, learn colors, and perform basic math operations.
El proceso de elaboración es bastante sencillo y en él pueden participar los niños bajo la supervisión de un adulto, se puede coser tanto a mano como a máquina, en esta oportunidad usé la máquina, pero si no dispones de una se puede coser a mano utilizando la puntada pequeña o puntada escondida, el proyecto es fácil de hacer y requiere pocos pasos, pero es de gran utilidad para usar diariamente; esta actividad ofrece grandes beneficios a los niños entre ellos:
*Permite identificar texturas y colores, ya que la tela destaca por sus coloridas franjas.
*También pueden identificar las figuras geométricas, como triángulos, líneas quebradas, delgadas y gruesas.
*Es una excelente actividad para trabajar la concentración y motricidad, al usar agujas es importante que los adultos estén orientando al niño sobre cómo hacer la costura con mucho cuidado, existen agujas plásticas o las agujas punta roma, que son las adecuadas para trabajar con niños siempre manteniendo una supervisión constante para evitar pinchazos.
*También les ayuda a ejercitar la motricidad durante el proceso de cortado; además operaciones matemáticas básicas como suma, división y multiplicación al cortar la tela, esta tiene 30 cm de ancho por 150 de largo, la dividimos en cinco partes y obtenemos cinco paños de 30 * 30 cm.
*En resumen, es un proyecto sencillo, donde el niño puede realizar diferentes actividades que le ayuden a concentrarse, estimular la creatividad, conocer colores y realizar operaciones matemáticas básicas.

Procedure
The first step was to measure the length of the fabric, which, as I mentioned, is 150 cm. Then, using the measuring tape, I measured 30 cm and cut the first piece. I made the remaining pieces by folding the fabric in half, then folding it again, resulting in five 30 cm pieces.

El primer paso fue medir el largo de la tela que como lo mencioné tiene 150 cm, luego con ayuda de la cinta métrica medí 30 cm y corté el primer paño, los restantes los saqué doblando la tela por la mitad luego otro doblez y así obtenemos cinco paños de 30 cm cada uno.
Once the pieces were cut, I sewed a hem along the edges of approximately 0.5 cm, leaving an unsewn space of three centimeters to make the joins at the corners.
Cortadas las piezas cosí un dobladillo por los bordes de aproximadamente 0,5 cm, dejando un espacio sin coser de tres centímetros, para hacer las uniones en las esquinas.
Once the hems are sewn, the unsewn spaces are joined to create the corners. This makes it easier for the needle to pass through without difficulty, as the fabric is quite thick due to the number of times it was folded. I sewed with a straight stitch, and that's how the cloths are finished. The important thing here is to match the ends so that the corner is neat.
Cosidos los dobladillos, se unen los espacios que quedaron sin coser y así se hacen las esquinas, esto facilita que la aguja pase sin complicación, al ser una tela bastante gruesa, por la cantidad de veces que se dobló, cosí con puntada recta y así están terminados los paños, lo importante aquí es hacer coincidir los extremos para que la esquina quede prolija.
