At the end of each term, projects are presented to showcase the educational resources and materials the students have created in class. I enjoy attending these events because they offer a wonderful opportunity to witness the young people's creativity and see how they transform items that would normally be thrown away into beautiful works of art.

Cada final de lapso se presentan los proyectos para exhibir los recursos y materiales didácticos que los chicos han elaborado en clase, me gusta ir a estas actividades porque es una excelente oportunidad para ver la creatividad de los jóvenes y cómo aprovechando unos recursos que generalmente van a la basura, crean lindos trabajos.
The topics covered in the "Patriotic Corner" included key national heroes, painters, and prominent figures from the colonial era and Venezuela's struggle for independence—such as the Liberator Simón Bolívar and the painter Juan Lovera—along with a depiction of July 5, 1811, the day Venezuela's Declaration of Independence was signed.
Regarding biology, various topics were addressed, such as the Eubacteria kingdom and the Fungi kingdom (which was one of my favorites; to be honest, I hadn't realized the vastness of this kingdom or the great variety of fungi found around the world). I also really liked the poster on genetic variations and mutations involving DNA and RNA. The world of biology is truly vast, and exhibitions like this offer a more detailed look at its various branches while helping us understand them in a simple way.
The plant kingdom was also represented, specifically seed-bearing plants; the display showed the plants themselves, their seeds, and various images that made them easy to identify. Next came the Archaea kingdom—a group I hadn't recalled, notable for its bacteria and protozoa. As for genetic variations, there were two posters that turned out beautifully, featuring vibrant colors and a design of cards and rectangles set against a black background. We then moved on to the animal kingdom—specifically invertebrates, or animals that lack a bony skeleton and instead possess other structures allowing them to move about on land or in water. Another interesting display was the one where the students outlined their goals and aspirations for the coming year, including their intended fields of study and personal ambitions, such as starting a family and successfully achieving all their objectives. This exhibition differed from previous ones, which had consisted mostly of scale models representing human body systems, the solar system, and the like. In this instance, creativity was expressed through displays representing the animal and plant kingdoms, the young people's short- and medium-term goals, and a patriotic corner honoring the national heroes who took part in the struggle for independence; undoubtedly, these activities are important for exercising the children's creativity and giving a second life to materials we typically have at home that would otherwise end up in the trash.
Los temas abordados en el Rincón Patrio incluyen importantes próceres del país, pintores y destacados personajes de la época colonial durante el proceso de emancipación de Venezuela, como el Libertador Simón Bolívar, el pintor Juan Lovera y un cuadro del 5 de julio de 181, cuando se firma el acta de Independencia de Venezuela.
En cuanto al área de biología se abarcaron diferentes temas como el reino de la Eubacteria, el reino Fungi o de los hongos, que fue uno de mis favoritos, siendo honesta desconocía la amplitud de este reino y la gran variedad de hongos que se pueden conseguir en diferentes partes del mundo, también me gustó mucho la lámina sobre las variaciones y mutaciones genéticas con el ADN y el ARN, el mundo de la biología es en definitiva muy amplio y este tipo de exposiciones nos ofrece una visión más detallada de cada una de sus divisiones y nos ayuda a comprender de forma sencilla.
El reino vegetal también se hizo presente con las plantas que solo tienen semillas, en ella se muestran las plantas, las semillas y varias imágenes que nos permiten identificarlas fácilmente, a continuación el reino Arquea, no recordaba este reino y destaca por las bacterias y protozoarios; en cuanto a las variaciones genéticas hubo dos carteles y ambos quedaron muy bonitos con vibrantes colores, diseño de tarjetas y rectángulos ubicados en un fondo negro, a continuación pasamos al reino animal, de los invertebrados, es decir aquellos animales que carecen de estructura ósea y en su lugar poseen otras que le permiten desplazarse y movilizarse ya sea en la tierra o en el agua, otra de las láminas que me pareció interesante, fue aquella donde los chicos plantearon sus metas y propósitos para el próximo año y la carrera que ellos aspiran estudiar, entre las metas formar una familia y lograr con éxito todos todas sus metas y propósitos, esta exhibición fue diferente a las que se han realizado anteriormente, ya que aquellas estaban formadas en su mayoría por maquetas de los diferentes sistemas del cuerpo humano, sistema solar entre otros; en este la creatividad se plasmó en las láminas que representan el reino animal y vegetal, las metas de los jóvenes para el futuro a corto y mediano plazo y el rincón patrio donde se exaltan los héroes del país que participaron en el proceso de emancipación, sin duda, estas actividades son importantes para ejercitar la creatividad de los chicos y darle una segunda oportunidad a los materiales que regularmente tenemos en casa y terminan en la basura.
