Programming language can become invisible to prompt engineers
The future of programming languages is clearly going to be agentic programming languages. This is the direction the world is currently going. In the last 6 months, there have been drastic releases in the AI world, creating a lot of prompt engineers into action rather than creating many programmers. If people define themselves as a prompt engineer, they have good value in the market, and they will get a job easily. For these prompt engineers, programming language is not a requirement. They should know how to use AI tools and vibe code.

I remember that a few years back, when React was becoming a very popular front-end tool, there were so many people in the market who were very good at React, but they didn't know vanilla JavaScript. It was not a mandatory requirement at all, and they were able to shine very well in their skill with just React. Today something similar is happening. People don't have to know how to write code in a specific programming language. They don't even need syntax. Everything is done by AI and will be done by AI.
Currently, people who are reviewing the code written by AI are somewhat proper engineers, and their role in reviewing the code is also slowly diminishing these days as AI can do beautiful things with its review skills. I'm sure there will definitely be a need for a human touch to challenge the architecture, ask the right questions, or send the right prompts. At least for that purpose, the industry will need an experienced coder who can do some things that AI cannot do. I think AI is just like a child; if we ask it to do something, they do it. But they don't justify or plan it 100 percent. They are sharp or intelligent, but they still lack what humans have, which is common sense.
I think even this common sense will get covered in the future somehow, if I'm not wrong. We have to see how things are going in the years to come. But in general, I think we don't have to be afraid of these AI advancements, but at the same time, we shouldn't stay outdated as well.
