Data privacy during our AI interactions
AI world is very competitive. Once upon a time, ChatGPT was the only AI that was very popular. Even today, that is the case, and there are still people who go to ChatGPT for their first need. But things are changing now. I'm able to see the change happening. People are satisfied with just Google Search, where Gemini rules. I have actually started using Gemini for all my needs. This is when our privacy becomes a question. We know for a fact that Google has most of our data, but it shouldn't be the case that all the AIs with whom we interact should have all our data.
These days, the feature where ChatGPT remembers all my conversations and all the data that I provide about myself is annoying. In all the conversations that I have with ChatGPT, it includes that context and annoys me with the answers. I don't know if others have faced this problem, but recently I noticed that ChatGPT remembers more than it should, which is what I feel.

Google already has our data, so I don't mind sharing more data with Google. But the other AI apps are not that reliable, and I don't know if I will be okay to share all the information with ChatGPT. But in the future, I guess all the AI that we interact with will keep our data and use our data to provide us with personalized responses, but after a point it can get annoying when it assumes things and provides information that we never asked for. I felt that this way, the quality has dropped a little bit in recent weeks.
I guess after a point of time, AI will become like a small app that we can self host and people will start using that so that their data will not be leaked out.
