"Alive"

Coo coo coo! The laughing dove goes,
For the darkness has started to melt,
As the majestic sun,
Like a lion in it strides,
Makes it way vertically up the horizon,
For like a king in the wake of it conquest,
All that breaths awaits its onset.

The flowers awaken to the dawn light,
Having gone to sleep with the twilight,
For the morning births the soft breeze,
That like ice away from the heat,
It makes the love of life hard.

The blue sky hangs over the earth,
For like a cocoon it holds a new life,
Giving a reason for the rivers to giggle,
As they wind their way down the greenish plain,
Spreading atop the humid soil.

As the sun scatters it light across the horizon,
Bringing together all of life,
From the buzz of the working bees,
To the call of the mighty eagle,
All in wings and winds,
For when the eye sees all the glory,
In which the earth is clothe,
The heart has only one sentence to say,
"What a good day it is to be alive"
