I really miss a project in the Hive ecosystem called #Arcadecolony. Some time ago, Arcadecolony used to be a gaming platform where we had the chance to play three to four games. But due to some conditions this platform was closed and it is still closed.

If anyone has any update about how long this platform will remain closed or what the project plans to offer in the future please share it in the comment section.

For those users who dont know about this platform, Arcade Colony used to be a gaming platform where you could access four games such #Splinterlands, #MoonKarts,#Stakehouseden and #GLS. All four of these games are my favorites and now that the platform is closed I only get the chance to play Splinterlands.

As far as I know the gaming section were one of the main reasons Hives price pumped so well in 2021. At that time #Splinterlands was at its peak and both outsiders and Hive users were very interested in the game.

They were playing it as a way to earn money and because it was an interesting game, players had a strong interest in SPS and HIVE tokens. They bought these tokens in large amounts, and I believe Splinterlands was one of the biggest reasons Hive reached its alltime high price of around $3.50.

I believe the gaming sector has always played a very important role. That is why I think one of the biggest initiatives in the Hive ecosystem should be gaming. Launching new games and bringing in new projects can onboard new users and attract more people from outside the Hive community.

One project that I have always praised is ArcadeColony which was known as a great gaming hub. It could have become a platform with 10 to 15 games listed. Whenever someone wanted to play a blockchain game they could simply visit Arcade Colony and access those games.

At one point only four excellent games were listed but they could have increased that number to 15 or even 20 so more gaming enthusiasts could use the same platform. If even one or two of those games became successful, it would have had a very positive effect on the Hive ecosystem and could also have helped increase the price of HIVE.

In this project I want to give a short introduction to three special games... MoonKarts, Genesis League Goals and StakehouseDen, so users who dont know about them can understand what they were. Now all we can do is hope that the ArcadeColony website will launch again.

MOONKARTS

MoonKarts was a car racing game where you had to buy cars and drivers. There were different accessories, you had to upgrade your drivers and cars, generate fuel and there were many other interesting features.

You could play solo or multiplayer and win Colony or Script rewards which could later be traded in the market.

GENESIS LEAGUE GOALS

The second game was Genesis League Goals which was also my favorite. It is a soccer management game where you play as a coach. You build your team, buy different players, add them to your squad and earn GLS rewards whenever you win a match.

You dont play football directly instead it is a simulator where the match is decided in one or two minutes and if you win you receive rewards.

STAKEHOUSEDEN

The third game was Steakhouse Den. It is a card game with three different game modes. It is mainly a luck based game where depending on the numbers you could win Colony and Script rewards.

Some parts of the game also required strategy which made it very interesting. I really miss these games now.

In the end I believe projects like this can help the Hive ecosystem grow and can also increase the value of HIVE.
