In Splinterlands, monster cards come in different card sets and variants. The most expensive versions are the Black Variant cards. The card I am talking about today costs about $1350.

Black varient cards are more beautiful then normal cards. It is quite expensive, so it is mostly bought by players who enjoy collecting rare and attractive cards for their decks. However if you buy the normal Modern card version it usually costs less than $5.

Today I will talk about the Tidal Tsunamist monster card. It belongs to the Water element and has very good powers and abilities.

First lets talk about its appearance. As mentioned this is the Black Variant so it has a beautiful black background with ocean waves behind it showing its Water element. The character is a female warrior wearing battle armor ready to release her energy toward enemy units and deal heavy damage.

This monster has excellent stats and gains three special abilities at the maximum level which I will explain today.

It is a 5 mana melee attacker making it useful in almost every battle including low mana battles. Because it is a melee attacker with good health you can use it as a secondary tank or even as the frontline tank depending on the battle ruleset and the other cards in your team.

Since it is a melee attacker it has 4 attack power that means it deals 4 damage to enemies every round... It is considered a heavy hitter because it can eliminate enemy monsters with 4 or less health in a single attack.

Unfortunately this monster has no armor to protect itself. It only has 7 health which represents its life. If it receives proper support from your team it can easily survive for three to four rounds while dealing significant damage.

It also has 4 Speed allowing it to attack quickly while increasing the chance that enemy attacks will miss.

At the maximum level this monster has three special abilities such as Sneak, Repair and Fury.

PRICE AND RENTING

As I mentioned earlier, Black Variant cards are usually much more expensive than normal cards.

A Level 10 Tidal Tsunamiist Black Variant costs around $13.50 as shown in the screenshot. On the other hand the normal Modern card costs between $1 and $5 depending on its level.

If you enjoy collecting premium cards and can afford the higher price then the Black Variant is a great addition to your deck.

Otherwise, the normal Modern version offers almost the same gameplay experience for less than $5.

If you don't want to buy the card you can also rent it. The rental cost is around 22 to 30 DEC per day which is very reasonable. By adding this card to your deck you can take full advantage of its powerful abilities and excellent performance in battle.
