Autumn
Autumn is a painting which feels like a long exposure on a fall day, with a turbulent canopy of leaves blurred while the craning trunk and branches of the tree remain still. There is a feeling of warmth in both the leaves on the ground, and remaining on the trees, which is complemented by the hint of blues and greens separating the two pools of color. Then the dark wood of the tree opposes the sun peeking out from behind the swaying leaves to result in a wonderfully balanced piece.
