Random Wildflowers in Gouache Study
Hi, Sketchbook community!
It's another time to play with gouache, with random flowers.
I just found the reference on YouTube. I didn't use a pencil for sketching.
I decided to paint directly. Using a round brush I painted the flower petals with violet, like it's a watercolor.
I added acid blue in the middle.
I randomly painted some leaves and stems on the flowers.
I added yellow-orange flowers as well.
I added some details using the color blue on the violet flower petals.
On the yellow-orange flowers, I added another layer of orange paint to make the flowers pop up.
For the stems and leaves, I added another layer of green paint.
I also added random butterflies surrounding the flowers.
Voila! Now, I can paint some random wildflowers that quickly.
