Hi, Sketchbook community!

I really find it tricky to draw or paint a mountain so I went to Pinterest searching how to draw a mountain.

This mountain is inspired by the French Alps mountain.

This is how I do it.

First - I sketched many triangles to form different ranges of mountains.

Second - I painted two different shadows of blue. A sky blue and acid blue.

Third - I painted the mountains with white, just half of the mountains as I created shadow on the other side of the triangle.

Fourth - For the shadow, I painted gray.

Fifth - On the white side, I also painted gray it's for the white area to have some rough effect for rocks.

Sixth - I painted another white for the icy or snowy effect on the mountain.

Seventh - For the shadow on color gray, I painted some white paint strips.

Voila! That's my snowy mountain study using gouache paint.
