Painting Lilac in Gouache Study

Hi, Sketchbook Community!

Lilac is such a beautiful flower and I also love the color.

So, I challenged myself to paint this.

This was a quick sketch I just found on Pinterest for reference.

First, I sketched using a pencil and lilac flowers inside the vase.

I used brown color for the stem.

I used purple and violet for the lilac.

I used green for the leaves.

I really enjoyed it, I never thought it was that quick to paint lilac.

For the vase, I painted it with greyish blue.

I added some details.

And voila, here's the lilac flowers inside the vase.
