This piece is about endings.
Not the end of everything, just the end of some things.
When I was younger, I wished for time to stop, for joy to last forever, for goodbyes to never come.
I saw endings as failures or loss.
But now I know: endings create space. They invite change.
They make room for new beginnings.
They crack us open so we can grow.
They hurt, yes, but they also heal.
Without the end, the next chapter can’t begin.
