I Summoned Only Odd Mana Units and Crushed My Opponent!

In todays 50 mana battle, I got to see a very interesting battle. The good thing was that under this special ruleset I had the chance to select some excellent monsters.

The rulesets were a little difficult but with a proper strategy and plan I selected my monsters carefully and secured a great win. In this battle, all my monsters remained alive while enemy units were destroyed.

First let's look at the two rulesets that made this 50 mana battle even more interesting and also added some restrictions.

SUPER SNEAK

The first ruleset was Super Sneak. In this ruleset all melee attack monsters gain the Sneak ability. Sneak allows melee monsters to target the enemy unit placed in the last position.

If you build a team with multiple melee attackers they will quickly eliminate the enemys backline first. This means their healers, support units, ranged attackers and magic attackers can be destroyed early.

However their main tank at the front will still remain strong and continue protecting the team.

ODD ONES OUT

The second ruleset was Odd Ones Out. In this ruleset you can only summon monsters with odd mana costs. All monsters with even mana costs are automatically disabled and cannot be used. These are the two main restrictions of this battle.

Keeping these two rulesets in mind I selected a Fire Archon as my summoner. Its ability gives +1 Speed to all of my allied monsters. Extra Speed helps my monsters attack faster and also increases their chances of dodging enemy attacks.

MY STRATEGY AND POSITIONING

Following this strategy I placed a strong tank in the front position. This monster has mixed attack abilities including Magic and Melee. It can absorb damage while also dealing strong attacks with its abilities.

In the second position I selected aggressive monsters. I placed a ranged attacker with 2 attack power followed by a magic attacker. This allowed me to create a strong offensive setup from the second position through the middle of my lineup.

For the monsters behind them I selected strong tank type units. The reason is simple. because of the Super Sneak ruleset, enemy melee attackers will target my last position monster first.

If the opponent has powerful melee attackers they will keep attacking my backline. Since I placed durable tank monsters there they can survive those attacks for a long time. Meanwhile my powerful attackers in the front and middle positions continue dealing heavy damage.

At the beginning of the battle everything went very well. Thanks to my strategy I destroyed the enemy's three tank monsters one after another.

The best part was that I eliminated five enemy units while none of my own monsters were defeated. This clearly showed that my strategy worked perfectly for this ruleset and my monster selection played a big role in securing the victory.

It is always important to understand the ruleset before entering any battle. This will secure your 50% win.

Once you understand the rules you can build a better strategy by deciding which monsters to select and where to place them correctly. Good positioning and proper monster selection are the keys to success in any ruleset.

My favorite monster in this battle was Scales of Justice from the Fire element. It is not an attacking monster. It has no ranged attack and no melee attack. Instead it has high Armor and high Health.

I placed it in the last position so it could absorb the damage from enemy melee attacks. It performed this role very well throughout the battle.
