Welcome to the weekly edition of my "Daily Grind" series of blogs. I am still using the good old Zoo War, and it is still able to keep up with decks from Auric Gold. This deck still has good potential if played patiently. Most of my losses on this edition of the daily grind are because of me being impatient.

But then, when I started to get serious, I noticed that it has a good chance of winning. This deck can outgun any deck if they don't draw perfectly. This deck still has the speed and the firepower that enables it to beat any deck at any time. The only downside of this deck is that if it draws bad, it will be very difficult to come back.

In this featured match, I am up against a very dangerous Light deck. The good old Zoo Light deck is gone; the domain has now evolved stronger from recent expansions. However, my Zoo War deck is still able to beat this kind of deck.

In any matches, I always want to get my 1-2 mana cards so that I can keep up with the opponent in terms of controlling the board.

I played Valka's Captain, and my opponent passed.

I played Trial Spirit to buff the health of Valka's captain. I used my god power to buff Valka's Captain, and I went face. My opponent played Pack Priest.

I killed Pack Priest, I went face. My opponent played Light and Luster and Swash Buckler to kill one of my creatures.

I played Blade of Styx and killed Swashbuckler. My opponent played his god power

I played Warmonger Smith, I killed Acolyte, and I went face. My opponent played Fist of Dread to kill one of my creatures.

I played Cunning Challenger, and I played a card from the Sanctum. I went face. My opponent played Worship and killed one of my creatures.

I played Chieftain's Fury, I went face, and it was GG.
