FEAR

At first glance,
Fear of the 'unknown';
When you start loving,
Fear of 'hurting';
But when in love,
We forgot ourselves and loved him.
Loved the defeat and the victory.
Unknowingly, that love becomes LIFE.

പേടി
ആദ്യമായ് കാണുമ്പോൾ,
'അറിയാത്ത ഒരാൾ' എന്ന പേടി;
സ്നേഹിച്ചു തുടങ്ങുമ്പോൾ,
'വേദനിക്കുമോ' എന്ന പേടി;
പക്ഷേ സ്നേഹിക്കുമ്പോൾ
നമ്മളെ തന്നെ മറന്നു സ്നേഹിച്ചു.
തോൽവിയിലും ജയത്തിലും സ്നേഹിച്ചു.
അറിയാതെ ആ സ്നേഹം പ്രണയം ആവുന്നു.
നമ്മുടെ പ്രാണനേക്കാളും പ്രിയമായവൻ;
നമ്മുടെ ജീവനും, ജീവശ്വാസവും അവനാവന്നു….
പിന്നീടു ഒരുനാൾ അവൻ നമ്മിൽ നിന്ന് അകലുന്നു;
സ്വസം എടുക്കാനാകാത്ത വേദന,
മുന്നിൽ വെറും അന്ധകാരം,
'അടുത്ത് എവിടെ കാലു വെക്കണം' എന്നറിയാത്ത ആ പേടി…..
പ്രാണൻ നമ്മേ വിട്ട് പിരിയുന്നത്
കൺമുന്നിൽ കാണുമ്പോൾ ഉള്ള ആ പേടി;
'ഇനി എന്തു' എന്ന് അറിയാത്ത ആ പേടി….
പ്രാണൻ ഇല്ലാത്ത വെറും ശവത്തിലും
ബാക്കി ഉണ്ടവുന്ന ഏക വികാരം…..
അതാണു പേടി.
