Hola needleworkers:3 feliz lunes espero que se encuentren muy bien, entre mis clases y el trabajo estar por acá seguido se volvió complicado, pero actualizar cada cierto tiempo me parece justo, así que acá estamos otro nuevo lunes, estoy preparando mi próxima entrega en lencería esta vez toca coser partes de abajo y quizás hasta diseñar un poco, pero lo voy a hacer con mucha paciencia, las entregas son bastante seguido, cada 15 días hay una nueva entrega, esta materia va super rápido, pero por suerte son cosas muy chicas de coser, que tiene otras cosas positivas, lleva poca tela y verán mucho del uso de mis retacitos jajaja, es el momento de usar todo eso que lleva guardado mucho tiempo.

Hello needleworkers! Happy Monday! I hope you're all doing well. Between my classes and work, being here regularly has become difficult, but updating every now and then seems fair, so here we are again on another Monday. I'm preparing my next lingerie project; this time it's sewing bottoms and maybe even doing some design work, but I'm going to do it with a lot of patience. The projects are quite frequent, every two weeks there's a new one. This subject moves super fast, but luckily they're very small things to sew, which has other positive aspects: it doesn't use much fabric and you'll see a lot of my scraps being used up, haha. It's time to use all those things that have been stored away for so long!

Para hacer esto hice muchos moldes, hice de vedetina, que se hace en base al body, este molde es súper simple de hacer y se puede modificar un poco, pero en está no hice muchos cambios, primero hay que aprender las bases y después modificar, en este caso yo estoy trabajando en talle 42, que es lo que hice en los bodys y voy a hacer eso toda la materia ya que mi hermana es la que me modela las pruebas de calce, aunque también apenas salga de vacaciones me toca hacerle algunos conjuntos como forma de pago.

To do this I made many patterns, I made one for a bikini bottom, which is based on the bodysuit. This pattern is super simple to make and can be modified a little, but in this one I didn't make many changes. First you have to learn the basics and then modify. In this case I am working in size 42, which is what I did in the bodysuits and I am going to do that for the whole class since my sister is the one who models the fitting tests for me, although as soon as I get off vacation I also have to make some outfits for her as a form of payment.

Calque mis moldes, le puse recurso de costura y lo corte en tela verde, que tiene un gran rebote y me puse a coser, es mi primera bombacha de la vida básicamente, así que esta vez si me vi todos los videos, esta materia es mixta, en clase solo estamos dos horas o menos, vamos solo a corregir, todo lo que es hacer se hace en casa, como es una materia de noche intentan que no volvamos tan tarde a casa.

I traced my patterns, added stitching, and cut them out of green fabric, which has great bounce, and started sewing. It's basically my first pair of underwear ever, so this time I actually watched all the videos. This subject is mixed; we're only in class for two hours or less, just to correct things. All the actual work is done at home. Since it's an evening class, they try to make sure we don't go home too late.

La costura es así, primero se cose el refuerzo, que cosí todo con overlock, en este molde el refuerzo tiene doble tela, creo que ninguna de mis prendas de ropa interior es así, hice el ejercicio de ir a mi cajón y ver toda mi ropa interior para ver si encontraba algunas cosas, aunque toda mi ropa interior es de emprendimiento y suelen trabajar un poco distinto el proceso industrial, y realmente este refuerzo es más costoso, más tela, aunque sea pequeño es un ahorro no hacerlo así.

The sewing process is like this: first, the reinforcement is sewn, which I sewed entirely with an overlock machine. In this pattern, the reinforcement has double fabric. I don't think any of my underwear is like this. I went through my drawer and looked at all my underwear to see if I could find some similar items. Although all my underwear is from a small business and they tend to work a bit differently than the industrial process, this reinforcement is actually more expensive, requiring more fabric. Even if it's small, it's a saving not to do it this way.

Después se cose en el costado y luego se pone el elástico que es lo que menos me gusta hacer, así que eso es para otro día jajaja.

Then it is sewn on the side and then the elastic is put on, which is my least favorite thing to do, so that's for another day hahaha.

Hice también un culotte pero ya desde el molde lo siento raro, creo que es por el porcentaje de reducción, porque este molde me quedo gigante.

I also made a culotte, but even from the mold it feels strange; I think it's because of the reduction percentage, because this mold turned out huge.

Este es hecho en mi talle y si bien soy un talle grande, está bastante similar a un short jajajaja, igualmente lo corté en tela y lo cosí, pero tampoco le puse elásticos, también sigo trabajando en partes, primero moldes y corte de tela, y luego costuras fáciles de todo y después elásticos.

This is made in my size and although I'm a plus size, it's quite similar to shorts hahaha, I still cut it out of fabric and sewed it, but I didn't add elastic either, I'm still working in parts, first patterns and cutting the fabric, then easy sewing of everything and then elastic.

Para terminar esta triada hice un bóxer femenino, en este me mande algunas macanas jajaja por ejemplo el refuerzo tendría que ser de algodón, pero no tenía y tampoco sabía ya que había faltado una clase jajaja, nota metal no faltar.

To finish this trio I made a women's boxer short, in this one I made some mistakes hahaha for example the reinforcement should have been cotton, but I didn't have any and I didn't know how since I had missed a class hahaha, metal note don't miss.

Una condición necesaria en la ropa interior es que la tela tenga doble rebote, es decir que en sentido vertical y horizontal la tela estire, y en ninguna de mis telas se cumplía esa condición salvo la verde, así que la gran mayoría de las partes de abajo por el momento serán verdes jajaja.

A necessary condition in underwear is that the fabric has double rebound, that is, that the fabric stretches vertically and horizontally, and none of my fabrics met that condition except the green one, so the vast majority of the bottoms for the moment will be green hahaha.

Se que debo conseguir tela para las próximas entregas así que me voy a encargar de eso también próximamente. Coser este bóxer fue super fácil, se cosen los tiros y después el elástico y los ruedos.

I know I need to get fabric for the next installments, so I'll take care of that soon too. Sewing these boxer shorts was super easy; you sew the crotch seams, then the elastic and the hems.

Obvio volví a dejar los ruedos y el elástico para después, pero elastizar no es mi tarea favorita, esto seguro lo termino en la semana por que mi entrega esta super cerca, pero ya verán todo el resultado la próxima entrega :3.

Obviously, I left the hems and elastic for later again, but elasticizing isn't my favorite task. I'll definitely finish this during the week because my deadline is super close, but you'll see the whole result in the next post :3.
